Robot Quadrotors Perform James Bond Theme (by UnivPennsylvania)
Anton, I was thinking about your robots when I saw this! Autonomous robots are awesome, even more than phones with NFC! I need to build one!

These are just a bunch of christmas tress that finished their goal in life…
Some cool facts from the National Christmas Trees Association:
- 25-30 million trees are sold each year in the us.
- For every Real Christmas Tree harvested, 1 to 3 seedlings are planted the following spring.
- It can take as many as 15 years to grow a tree of typical height (6 - 7 feet) or as little as 4 years, but the average growing time is 7 years.
- There are more than 4,000 local Christmas Tree recycling programs throughout the United States.
I always loved the smell and the chic of a wooden pipe. Finally, I can say that I have proudly joined the notorious club of Nikon O’Hara, Sherlock Holmes, Chomsky, and Arie Derey.
Last week Andres, a good friend who also wanted to get into pipe smoking, and I decided to DO-IT. we went to this fancy smoking store in wall street, and got ourselves two pipes, two types of posh tabacco (one is named Diplomat), and some other accessories.
The experience was super fun, can’t wait to write my first tumblr while smoking a pipe :P
Disclaimer: I believe that day to day smoking is bad for you body, and this is why I don’t do it. But I do believe that recreational smoking (no more than once a week) is not more harmful than the smog that we are exposed to anyhow.
Rachel sent me this link and I think that this map has an awesome ux to find interesting facts in the stock market. Since I usually only follow technology stocks this gives an interesting perspective to view how the different sectors in the market are affected by each other and it is also easy to compare the MKT CAP (the area of the rectangle) between the companies and sectors.
e.g I know that Health Care is big, but I didn’t know that it is as big as the financial industry.
The start
About four months ago, I have set up a goal for myself that by the end of the year I will improve my web presence, e.g: try to google ‘Yoni Goldberg’ / ‘Jonathan Goldberg’, and that I should start sharing my thoughts about stuff that I care about. Since I have vocally announced these goals in various occasions and to too many people (david, mwnuch, quinn and more) I just had to get it done…
My goal had two very humble tasks. To set up a web site for myself, and to post my first post on tumblr.
Some kudus: to my talented sister Alona that helped me with the design (my initial version was really ugly), to heroko for making rails web site deployment the easiest thing that I have recently done, and to God for inventing Hanukah, Christmas and the US holiday system that provided me with the free time that I needed.
To conclude my first tumblr post, and to make it more fancy than it really is, I will conclude with famous honorable quote:
“Great Success” - Borat
